Winchester
Back in the listings by no fault of his own!
Winchester has been a one owner horse his whole life. He used to live on a cattle farm
with an older gentleman and was extensively ridden on the trails and used to gather the
cattle in the field. He's been a hard workin' farm boy! He is well built with heavy muscle
and stands 15.2h He has a very kind and gentle way about him and a snuggle bug
personality.
"Chester" is very, very easy to ride and has impeccable ground manners. He will W/T/C
like he should, he has a super stop and a nice neck rein. He is very uncomplicated and
suitable for ANY level rider. He would make a nice "husband horse"...Ladies, your
husband can be a "cowboy" and you won't have to worry about him getting hurt..hehehe!
He enjoys going out and about. He is a trail riding professional and will go over or through
anything, he is used to packing saddle bags, he is road safe and will go out alone or with
others with out any hesitation. He is a super kind and gentle fella and he loves people.
Chester loads, bathes, picks up all 4 feet, will stand tied patiently for any amount of time
and he is so quiet in the barn that you don't even know he's there! He has no vices, comes
right up to you in the field, respects the fence and gets along in the herd. He is toward the
bottom in the pecking order. Chester is currently on a joint supplement for maintainence
and if he is used for extensive trail rides he will require front shoes (flat footed). Arena
riding, leisurely rides or back yard riding he is fine bare foot.
It's plain and simple with this one...he's just a good boy from top to bottom weather you are
riding him or enjoying him from the ground...he's just plain GOOD!
