Wild Bill
Hahahahaha! What a name!  NO..... he's NOT wild......does ol' faithful here look wild??!!

Bill is a 16yr old Red Sorrel gelding, standing 17 hands with big floppy lips and a docked
tail.  Bill knows the meaning of a hard days work and it shows, but don't let that fool you,
he is still going STRONG AS AN OX!! Put some good food in this guy, bulk him up and
he will look like a million bucks!!  He rides, drives and works- he goes single and double,
works anywhere you put him, is broke to all farm machinery and has been used to break
colts to harness. He was also used for logging a couple years ago- so he can dig in and
pull if you need him to. He is virtually bombproof as he has been used and worked- so he
has pretty much seen it all. He also rides great, on the trail or in the arena he follows all
cues and commands and is just plain EASY to get along with. He would make a perfect
husband horse or trail partner for someone looking for a big steady mount. Once he is
bridled up he is all business and ready to do what is asked of him- he is all heart and he
is the kind of horse that would not quit no matter what. I would like him to go to a home
where life is not all about "work"- he REALLY enjoys the trails and riding around the farm,
he is fun to ride and I honestly think that he enjoys it just as much!!  Bill REALLY
APPRICIATES grooming time and treats, he's learning what the "pampered life" is all
about and is lovin' it!!!
Bill ties, loads, picks up all 4 feet, and will paw and drool at grain time (he thinks that
sweetfeed is GOLD!) Also, Bill is a doofus about leading him sometimes-  a bit pushy but
easily corrected with a firm hand. I know he's ugly but trust me- he makes it up with his
personality and loyalty- he's a REALLY GOOD horse! He is fine in the barn, fine in the
pasture with a mixed herd, is respectful of the fence and is easy to catch.  I would say
that he is suitable for a novice horsemen and up (only because of his tendency to be a
bit pushy)- he's not horrible, but it might intimidate a beginner.

A little note! ***Bill is madly in love with "Patsy", and she loves him too.... they would
make a perfect team! Maybe Bill for the husband to ride and Patsy for the wife and kids
to ride???? What a NICE pair of trail horses!  They will also drive and work together in
harness!! I'm willing to make a deal for the pair if you want to keep them together!!!!!
A nice easy walk
