16.2 hand blonde Belgian gelding with beautiful blue eyes (a rare find!!), he has a full tail
and is aged approx. in his early to mid twenties .
He is a darling old man looking for a semi retirement home with someone who just wants
to stroll around the farm. His hard workin' days are over but his peppy little ol' geezer
attitude says that he's not ready to hang up the bridle just yet! I bet he was really
something in his day!! He thoroughly enjoys being groomed, fussed over, and fed treats!
He is a good beginner horse and is happy to just plod along and enjoy the scenery, he is
gentle as they come and is very easy going, he doesn't get excited about anything and
anyone can ride him. He is easy to handle and ride he is a been there done that kind of
guy. If you're looking for a safe and enjoyable horse well here ya go....he's looking for a
good home!!
Spud is in fairly good shape, he currently eats Senior feed mixed with hay pellets for grain.
He is slightly stiff in the hind end due to years of hard work in the fields- so a joint
supplement might do him some good. He is serviceably sound for light riding use (meaning
no galloping across fields/ strenuous training routines/ or plow work) he CAN go on trail
rides and leisurely rides around the farm. Don't let this paragraph scare you away....I just
want to make you aware of his "needs", he's a great ol' boy- and well worth it :)
