BEAUTIFUL blood bay....and I mean a really red tint to
his coat- he is so pretty to look at!!!! You should see
him in the summertime- all slick and shiny! 12 yrs old,
Stands 13h with a chunky build. Came in on trade in
the summer of 2008 (privately owned pony).....Ive
hesitated advertising him because he's been a blast to
have around....but I cant keep 'em all so here he is! I
have pictures of him with the previous owners kids
riding him around, they would take him down to the
water and play with him, apparently he loves to swim
and splash around!! They rode him ALL OVER their
farm all by themselves! He was traded for a full size
horse.
Sparks is SO friendly that he will drive you NUTS! You
cant do anything without him having to be the center of
attention and have his nose into everything- always
follows you around like a lost puppy dog. He is your
best friend no matter what- always by your side- always
"in your face" telling you that he's the superstar on the
farm.....no one else should exist! Come meet him for
yourself.....you'll see! He's a goof!
He is an EXCEPTIONAL driving pony and is fancy
enough to show. Driving is his specialty.....He has
stamina that just wont quit, is road and traffic safe, and
is easy and uncomplicated. Drive him anywhere- he
knows his job and does it well.....virtually bombproof!!
He is a heads up pony with a lot of flare in his step, he
is a very proud pony when he gets to take his human
for a drive! Very easy to control, follows all cues and
commands, patient enough to let you learn with him-
and fun enough to be able to grow with! He will take
good care of his driver- just a good honest pony! He
has also been used for farm work (dragging arena/
plowing garden/etc) Sparks also rides great, same
deal.....ride him anywhere....he doesn't care as long as
he's getting attention! Rides inside, outside, trails,
terrain, road, etc. He acts the same weather you use
him once a day or once a month...it doesn't matter.
This guy is SUPER broke, is sound, healthy and an
easy keeper. He is big and stout enough for a small
adult to ride, and strong enough for anyone to drive.
We have plans of showing him until sold.
He is fine turned out in a mixed herd- tends to be the
boss,respects the fence, always comes up to you to be
caught. Has not been hauled around much so he will
need work with trailering. Loads fine- just gets a little
nervous once he's on.
