Socks

Quarter Horse gelding, built like a tank and stands at 15h of solid muscle! This is definetly a
cowgirl or cowboys horse as the average person would be intimidated by him. Socks is one
of the broke-est horses around, he has more miles on him than my truck with the saddle
stains on his back to prove it. He has an awesome neck rein, works off your leg, is extremely
responsive to cues, will step right up into a nice lope from a halt or a walk, he has a good
ranch horse working walk to him, rides in the bridle (on the bit), he will slow lope if you hold
him- but let him out and he will tear it up- he can really run when asked!!! Socks has been
used at rodeo events as a pick up horse, he has been roped off of, team penned and ranch
sorted with, he has seen the big country and is ready to go to work for you. He can really get
in there and move cattle. He has also been patterned for barrels and poles. Here is a tough
all around ranch horse / using gelding. IT WILL NOT GET TOO STEEP OR TOO DEEP
FOR THIS HORSE- he has loads of heart and is the kind that would die trying to accomplish
the task being asked of him. He trail rides the best, he will go anywhere you ask him to go
and nothing.... and i mean nothing fazes him, he's seen it all! You can ride him alone or in a
group, he will lead or follow. He is traffic safe and doesn't get upset over loud noises. He's
been ridden on trails, roads, farms, and hauled to shows and rodeo events. He keeps to
himself and minds his own business at all times.
NO BEGINNERS PLEASE!!!! This horse is too broke and does what he's told when he's
told to do it, there is no room for rider error here!!!!
Socks has superior ground manners, easy to bathe, clip, tack up, bridle, hops right in the
trailer, ties quietly in the barn and to the trailer, ground ties, great at new places and in
crowded arenas. Gentle to be around, is very loveable, and likes to be paid attention to.
He will be hauled, shown, and working cows until sold.
