Skipa Rare Bar
Registered APHA mare, 15.2h, very flashy with one blue eye, one brown. She came out of
Kentucky and has been extensively used as a trail horse. She has seen it all, she has been
used in the mountains, in the woods, crossed small streams, packed saddle bags, is road/
traffic safe and has been on overnight trips. She will go out alone or in a group with no
problems. In 2009 she was ridden in the Gettysburg Battlefield, she is used to the
commotion of the reinactments and she is used to the crowds, the gun fire and cannon ball
fire.  The only reason she was sold is that her owner was going back to college, she stated
"please give her a good home, Sapphire has been a great trail horse for me".
Sapphire is about 90 days away from being a finished show horse. She naturally carries her
head low and is an exceptional mover. She is a fantastic HUS, over fences or WP candidate.
She will make someone the perfect all- arounder.  She has been started to neckrein and
move off leg cues, this mare is easy to work with and enjoyable to ride.
She is super gentle, quiet, and laid back, she is on the lazy side and anyone can handle her.
She is a good beginner horse and is happy to just plod along, she is as uncomplicated as
they come and is very easy going, she doesn't get excited about anything. Any level rider
would get along with her. Sapphire clips, baths, crossties, loads, has the nicest ground
manners and has no stable vices. She adores people and attention.
