King   the Heinz percheron
January, 2010
Candice,

Growing up as a child I had a dream. I dreamed of having my own horse. In fact every year I would go to the fair and
spend hours looking at the horses. I will never forget watching the Heinz Hitch horses in their green stalls set up by
Indian Village with the front of the stalls roped off. When I close my eyes its like I’m still standing their gazing at the big
beautiful black team of percherons. I would wait in anticipation for the parade in which they marched, pulling a big red
wagon.

When I saw King on your website I almost died. I couldn’t wait to see him. I’ll never forget seeing him in the cross tries
upon entering the barn, my heart melted and I knew it was meant to be. There were of course a few obstacles. I didn’t
own a barn, knew nothing about caring for a horse, and didn’t know how to ride….

King went to Harmony and won ribbons in all three events. We have had so much fun with him and he is a part of our
family. He runs to the fence of the pasture as soon as he sees my truck pull in. He loves people and treats;)

When people say everything happens for a reason. I believe this to be true. I found my dream horse, made an
awesome friend and my kids found a person who inspires them. Thank you for everything!
