Hello Candice,
This is Tracy McCormick. I know you don't often respond to e-mails but I hope you
read this. I bought Drifter, aka-Joe, from you almost a year ago. I have been
working with him a lot. We are able to trail ride alone, without my sister and her
horse. He will go any where and do anything I ask him to do. Last week I dragged
a tarp out in the middle of the yard and rode him right over it. He never even
flinched. I put a plastic bag on a stick; wave it around him and he doesn't even
flinch. Another great thing is, last time he got his hooves trimmed, he fell asleep. It
was hilarious!! He would nod off, and jerk his head a little when he would come out
of it. Carlene and I were laughing at him. He got his teeth floated last Thursday
and he flinched when Steve rinsed his mouth but never moved his feet while he
was getting worked on.
Your browser may not support display of this image.I am completely in love with him
and I appreciate you for selling him to me. My nine year old daughter is out with
him all the time. She will go out in the pasture and brush him for hours. I never
worry about her. Drifter is amazing with her. She has been riding him in the
pasture but I walk around with her. He is my best friend and I am sooo happy with
him.
Although he does well as an only horse, I know that he gets lonely. My husband
and I are planning on getting another horse in the spring. I search your website
about once a week and I think if Lacey still needs a home in the spring we would
like to come and see her. If not, I’m sure you will have others that need a
home. I sure do love my Appaloosas, though. I’m hoping that she will still be
available. I love her color. She looks like someone spilled bleach all over her
back. I can’t believe that no one has bought her yet. I think Sir Quincy is totally
adorable also. You probably won’t have him long either. Anyway, I will definitely
be looking for an Appaloosa next year. I will keep an eye on your website.
Take care and I hope all of your four legged friends are doing well. Thank you
again for giving me my best friend.
