Extremely CUTE sorrel with four high whites and a bald face, she is SHARP! 14.2h
paint mare. English / Western / Trails / QUIET! Very, very lovable personality, the more
attention and fuss the better. She is excellent for any level rider and will pack around a
beginner. She is fantastic on the trails and is road safe. Not much of anything will
fluster her and she prefers to plod along at an easy pace. Ruby is nicely trained W/J/L,
she has a good neck rein and stops easily. She does not need to be ridden
continuously to remain the nice quiet girl that she is. One a week or once a month, it
does not matter, just saddle up and head out. Ruby is selling serviceably sound and is
priced accordingly, she has an old bowed tendon which will cause her to off stride at
the trot. She is perfect for the rider that likes to enjoy leisurely trail rides on a steady
mount. If you need a guest horse or beginner horse come give Ruby a try, she is an
excellent teacher! She is forgiving of mistakes and will not intimidate anyone. She
loves to be groomed and fussed over and will always be the first to greet you in the
pasture. She is not at all marish and gets along with everyone.

UPDATE February 2012: Due to Ruby's soundness with the bow not improving we had her
fully vetted and x-rayed. Sad news as the results show severe ringbone. It is reccomended
for her to be fully retired as she is pasture sound only. If someone needs a total snuggle bug
to fuss over and be a buddy to a lonely horse- here's your girl! She does not require special
maintainence and is an easy keeper. She is free as a companion horse to an approved
home, under contract.
