Roanie came all the way to NY from Wisconsin- what a big trip for a little pony!! I
had an amazing and adventurous trip to Wisconsin, met some absolutley
wonderful people and made some lifetime friends! My little Roanie has
sentimental value- so please only inquire on her if you are able to provide a
permanient home with excellent care and send updates with pictures to her
previous owner. She is a COMPANION PONY ONLY!
Roanie came from the Bed and Breakfast I stayed at while I was in WI. Her
owner took such good care of me and upon the tour of her beautiful facility (a
Friesian breeding farm and Bed & Breakfast), we came upon Roanie Pony who I
immidiately fell in love with! Well, it just so happened that she was trying to find
Roanie a good home- so off to New York she went!!
To me she looks like a tiny Clydesdale without the feathers, look at those pretty
markings! She is Registered with the American Show Pony Registry and is 12
years old and stands 12.1h. Roanie only has one eye, and IS NOT broke, she
has been used as a companion pony only, at a young age she was rescued by
Gloria and was provided a great home with lots of love. She is a friendly as can
be, LOVES other horses and ponies, gets along with everyone you put her with,
respects the fence and is always the first to come up to you- she LOVES all the
attention she can get and enjoys being groomed. She has very unique color and
is a gorgeous mover, Roanie is 100% sound and healthy, has no maintainence
issues, no vices and is a very easy keeper. She would be the perfect addition for
anyone looking for a barn mascot or stable buddy!
I have her complete history available to go with her- several pictures of her at
her other home, registration papers, pictures of both her sire and dam (who are
both STUNNING!!), and their complete registration and pedigrees as well. I
promised Gloria that we would find 'her girl' a home that best suits her,so she is
available to the right person only!
The FULL amount of her price ($200) will be donated to the Wisconsin Humane
Society.....so please feel free to give more than that if you are able!!!
