Drop dead gorgeous, jet black, 17.1 h Percheron mare with a huge build and pretty face.
She is as calm and gentle as anyone could want. Phoenix is well trained to ride, W/T/C halt
and back, rides fully tacked or bareback and goes in an open bridle and snaffle bit with no
trouble what so ever. Her canter will need a little finishing (pickup and stamina) but boy is
she NICE! She is dead quiet, you can literally climb all over her or ride her double and she
prefers to travel at a slow and easy pace. Her jog is super slow and is one you could sit to
all day! She is easy in the bridle and is 100% child or beginner friendly both on the ground
and under saddle. She will trail ride anywhere like a pro and does not get flustered, she is
excellent weather you are riding in the arena or enjoying some time out and about. She will
go alone or in a group and will lead or follow. Phoenix is show quality and would do well on
the circuit in the English and Western Pleasure divisions. She has excellent ground
manners, can be led, handled, groomed, fully tacked and blanketed by kids and has a
snuggle bug personality. Her feet are great, does not need shoes and will easily pick up all
four. She is well behaved for the farrier, vet and de worming. Excellent barn manners and is
not destructive. Phoenix is a wonderful family horse that can trail ride or show. Super nice
mare from top to bottom.
A little side note for everyone that knows my Jay ( my Percheron show gelding with world
titles under saddle), this mare could be his twin! Same build, same personality and same
feel under saddle. Her price will go up as we put the show miles on her, she IS going to be
that good!
