Measured at a well built 14h (looks bigger in person- he is made like a cow horse!) This
gelding is very broke, he was born and raised in Texas and has been working for a living
on a cattle ranch. He is well broke and really rides around. He will open and close gates,
work a feed lot, push cattle, has been pasture roped on and will go anywhere you ask
him to go. He has loads of heart and a willing to please attitude. Really wants to work for
you. Gentle to be around and has excellent ground manners, this guy is super civilized!
He is good in the barn and in the field, ties, bathes, easy to catch and has no vices. He is
a super trail horse, he will ride around anywhere with no problems! He has a sweet,
loveable personality and gets along with other horses. He will make an awesome cutter,
reiner, roper, penner, working cow horse or barrel prospect. He has looks, personality,
athleticism, intelligence and more "cow" than you can imagine. Would make a great all
around horse, can go in many directions. Peapod has a great stop from any gait, backs
up easily, lopes off soft and quiet, knows his leads, has an easy jog, broke in his face,
gives easily, flexes around, moves away from leg pressure. Peapod would be perfect for
a kid or woman wanting to do 4H, all-around shows, AQHA events, team penning or
ranch sorting, NBHA, or rodeo events. Not at all lazy, willing to work all-day, but easy to
ride and has a great handle. He is eager to please. Has been started on his lead
changes, started to do a nice slow spin and rollsback both ways, and has been patterned
on the barrels. Rides around in just a jr cow horse snaffle bit, on occasion we use a tie
down if you need to get to work with a lot of speed and handle. Gorgeous gelding, very
kind eye and well put together. Has been hauled, easy to mess with, great minded.
Quiet in new places, not much of anything bothers him, has been in traffic, and been
hauled to arenas. In good shape and ready to go, priced to sell!
He is up to date on everything and has his interstate travel certificate. AQHA papers and
transfers are in hand and in order!
