In the end my very satisfied customers laughed all the way to the bank!
In 2008 a very good client of mine turned a unbroke, malnourished QH into
$4500...talk about adding value to a horse...and thats what I LOVE to see- all it
took was 90 days, some food and some training. You will see that horse on the
AQHA circuit this year!
Another client turned a skinny little paint colt into $3500 Feed him, geld him, and
handle him- its amazing what a little time can do! (hehehe but she wouldnt sell
him....that was the offer though and the guy was begging her to sell him!) Can't
put a price tag on love...right Amy?!!
Another put some trail miles on a gelding that was already broke to ride and she
got $1500 for him!
Those are just a few examples of what you can do with a 'fixer upper'! In
2009.....lets commit to adding VALUE to a horse.....fix 'em - feed 'em - train 'em -
show 'em....its not rocket science.....its RESPONSIBLE horse ownership!!
