Marshall
Well isn't this a neat mix! Marshall ended up with the height and color characteristics of the
Appaloosa, the solid frame and bone of the Belgian and the gaits of the Tennessee Walker.
The white marks you see in the photos ARE his spots, they are not camera error! (People
have been asking). This guy is the trail riders dream- he's been there, done that and enjoys
every minute!
Marshall stands 15h with a huge, comfy structure that will take up a lot of leg - riding him is
literally like sitting on a couch, he is smooth as glass! He has a very confident and brave way
about him out on the trail and in the arena. He will walk, slow shuffle along, move out and gait
(incredibly smooth!) and he canters. He stops easily and has a perfect, responsive one hand
neck rein. He is very well trained, is push button with all of his cues, is easy to ride and will be
the same horse you put away no matter how long you leave him sitting around. Marshall has
seen it all and has hundreds of trail miles, he is not spooky, just point - go - and have fun! He
enjoys attention and has a very happy and lovable personality. He's the guy that almost
always nickers when he sees you coming. Marshall is excellent in new places, loads like a
pro, crossties, straight ties and is easy to bathe, clip, etc. He has no vices and is a pleasure to
have in the barn. He is very low in the pecking order outside, is easy to catch and respects
the fence. Marshall will require front shoes at all times due to a founder episode years ago -
he is not chronic- but his soles are a bit tender if he is left barefoot. He is an easy keeper and
very healthy. He has plenty of great years ahead of him and is a ton of fun all the way around!

Congratulations
Christine and Happy
Trails! You are
going to love him-
he's a pro! So glad
he has is own
person now!
