Marra
Marra is looking for a good home with a patient and understanding person....I'm sure she will
thank you in the long run!   Here is a good little "fixer-upper", she stands 14.1 hands and is
an absolute sweetheart on the ground. She is broke to ride but will need someone to work
through her "kinks". She was previously trained for show and somehow fell through the
cracks. We have her on the right track (training) and hope that someone will have enough
heart to keep her going in the right direction.  Marra is sound, healthy, is great in the herd,
respects the fence, is easy to catch, and behaves in the barn. She loves to be groomed and
fussed over, she has good ground manners and is low maintainence. She crossties and is
easy to tack and bridle. She has some issues,  we feel that with time and consistancy  they
can be worked through. Here it is...up front and to the point....She will not stand to be
mounted, she will spin circles and act terrified. You have to be super quick to mount her
because when you go to swing on, she bolts. GETTING ON IS THE ISSUE HERE!!! Once
your on and settle her, she sets her head and tries to accomplish the task being asked of
her. We have had successful rides with her and she is incredibly trained but something must
have happened along the way for her to have this much fear, she needs a quiet rider that
can stay consistant with her.  Please watch her video and you will see what I'm talking
about.  If anyone is looking for a nice little 'project type' horse or even a companion for a
lonely horse, please consider her. She deserves a good home.
