Little Pretzel
October 2009: Pretzel is a 2009 weanling colt,  these are the only pictures that will be posted
until his condition gets better. This little darlin'  needs plenty of TLC. Due to malnourishment
and hoof care neglect he has a long road ahead of him. With continued farrier work, proper
diet and supplements we hope that he will make a complete recovery. If you can not offer him
this please do not inquire.
He is so stinkin' cute that you can't help but fall in love with him! He loves people, is very
gentle and the way he looks at you with big brown eyes...gosh I love this colt! Pretzel is always
happy to see you, we have a halter on him and he is learning to lead. He enjoys being
brushed and is getting good about his winter blanket.

Snuggled up under his friend Tate.

UPDATE:  February 2010
All I can say is look at him now!!! It is amazing what routine care can do!  He is ready for a
new home, all he will need is routine farrier care (obviously!), and regular foal care....the hard
part is over  :)     He went from a colt who could barely walk to a normal running, bucking,
playful, happy youngster!  The last thing on the list of things to do is the gelding procedure
which should be done this spring.  If he finds a home before then I will provide a certificate to
have him gelded for free (you must fill out application and qualify for this service).
He deserves a home with a lot pampering and love as that is what he is now accustomed to :)
Lil' Pretzel is a great stable mate or companion to other foals and horses that might need a
buddy.  Here is one that appriciates people and loves to see you coming!
Pretzel and Alyse....he absolutley LOVES her!

UPDATE NOVEMBER 2010: The little fella is now gelded and completely healthy. He is 100%
ready to find a loving family to call his own. He is still a little lovebug, is completely trained to
lead and tie and enjoys being groomed and fussed over.  He has turned out to be an easy
keeper and no longer has any special needs. A little work went a LONG way with this little
darling! Great pet or companion for a lonely horse. :)  Can not be ridden due to his legs /
conformation.
Congratulations Kylee! Take good care of my boy, I'm going to miss him!
He sure will love all of the attention and having a job keeping your horse
company :)
