Jericho
TWO Happy Appys in a row, wow this is great!!!

‎15.1h Blue Roan Appaloosa gelding. He is solid made and athletic with a good bone, good
foot and a full mane and tail. This gelding is very good broke and very good minded, he
would make an outstanding mount for someone who wants the versatility to play in various
events at shows on the weekends and trail ride during the week!
Jericho is bold, brave and always ready to get the job done. He is a superior trail horse and
would be a fantastic English show horse with potential for jumping. He is a great mover and
when you ride him you can feel plenty of horse underneath you but you never have to worry
about him doing anything stupid. He is a very FUN mount with no buck, rear or bolting
nonsense, this guy loves to work! He has been used for ranch sorting and literally has
hundreds of trail miles on him as he was the leader for guided trail rides out west and back
east.  He has a one hand neck rein, stops easy, takes his leads and has a lofty trot and a
nice easy to sit canter. He travels through rocky terrain, water, mud, dead fall, and thick
brush without batting an eye. He is road safe and will lead the way regardless of your
destination. He is surefooted, smart, solid and is an honest horse that anyone can ride
without getting themselves into a jam. Nice horse that is dependable and reliable. Rides the
same every trip out of the barn. He will also pack saddlebags. This gelding is very mature,
seasoned, and experienced. He handles new situations and new surroundings without any
problems.  With his movement and athleticism we would love to see him hit the show ring
under some English tack!
Jericho ties, loads, respects the fence and baths well. He is sound, has no stable vices, is
healthy and an easy keeper. He has what appears to be a hot brand on his left hip, it is hard
to make out (see photo). He is eligible for registration if you choose to do so. He is a little
fussy when you take him out of the herd at first, but within a few minutes he settles right in.
He can be a bit pushy on the ground with new handlers, he is super smart and will figure
you out within seconds! A calm, assertive handler will have no problems with him but due to
this we will not recommend him for small children, teenagers will be fine.  He likes to be "told
what to do" and if you don't tell him, well, he'll just do his own thing with or with out you! Just
some man made nonsense that is easily corrected. Priced accordingly. :)
