HOLIDAY HAY DRIVE
Here is a GREAT way to give back this holiday season!  This will help feed hungry LOCAL
horses this winter. PLEASE contribute, even if it is just a little....every little bit helps! This is
for our local horses that are in need this winter!!!

The best part about it is that you know where your hard earned money is going, they are a
legit not for profit organization!!

Either contact Carol or drop items off here- I will see to it that she gets any donated items
(halters/ blankets/ hay/ etc)  Monetary donations must be mailed directly to the address
below.
Hi,

I am trying a new approach.  I would like for you to consider pledging at least 5 bales of hay
to the Large Animal Assistance Project for this winter's needs.  We would only take the hay
you pledge should we have need for it and only at the time we have need.  (We did just
purchase 50 bales for some horses this week.)

I am hoping if a number of people pledge to give us some good quality first cutting horse
hay, that among us all, we will have provided for several hungry horses in Oswego County.

If you decide to pledge, all you have to do is email me back stating the NUMBER OF
BALES you pledge along with your ADDRESS and PHONE NUMBER.  I will not come to
pick up the hay without notice and your prior approval.

Please add the needy horses of Oswego County to your holiday list and pledge what you
can.  If you prefer to donate money, obviously we would appreciate that also.  Checks can
be sent to the Oswego County Humane Society, 265 West 1st Street, Oswego, NY 13126.
PLEASE PUT "LARGE ANIMAL PROJECT" ON THE MEMO LINE.

Thank you.  I look forward to hearing from you.

Email your pledge to:

Please help prevent this, no animal should be left hungry.
Hi,

One of the people on my email list suggested I open up the holiday hay drive to those of you
who either board your horses or do not have extra hay to donate.  If you are in either
situation (or don't currently own horses), please feel free to pledge money instead.  We will
call you when and if we need it and use it to purchase hay.  If you prefer to pledge $15
instead of the 5 bales, or even more, you may simply respond to this email, tell me the
amount of your pledge and include your phone number.

If you prefer to send the money in now just refer to the original letter I sent out which gives
the information for sending it in.

Let me take this opportunity to thank all of you who have already generously donated to the
hay drive.  Response has been wonderful.  Happy Holidays.

Carol, Large Animal Assistance Project Coordinator
