Charlie Horse
Haflinger / Quarter Horse cross. Stands 14h and is as STURDY as they come...this
guy is built like a Belgian that got his legs cut off...haha! He is strong and tough
enough for any adult to ride, yet short enough to climb on him easily. The boy in the
pictures is 5'11" and looks just fine on him.
Charlie is a FUN ride, he has basic training W/T/C, halt, and a little neckrein. He is a
peppy fella that has some 'giddy up' if you want it! He has been trail ridden his whole
life and used to track cows in the field- but we think he would be mighty cute in the
show ring. If you know how to ride- you will have a BLAST with him! Perfect for the
trail rider that loves overnight trips and long rides...thats all he's done and thats what
he knows! He's just a tough little trail boss that can go for hours and not let you down.
Charlie is sound, healthy, has no vices, behaves in the barn, ties, loads, baths, etc. He
is a low maintainence SUPER easy keeper!

UPDATE- 1/3/10 : I can not believe this horse is still here... I really think he's being over
looked! To best describe him in one word it would be "HAPPY"! Charles is always in a
good mood and you can take him out once a week or once a month and he's the same boy.
I have been having a ball with him since he's been here, I have trail ridden him, hauled him
to new places, taken him team sorting, ridden him english and started him on cross rails
(which he loves)! He willingly does what is asked of him and molds to new situations very
easily, there isn't much he won't do! He rides western, trail, english, started to jump, sorts
and pens cattle and does games (keyhole, cloverleaf, poles, etc). He would make a great
4-H or all-around using horse for some one looking to move up onto a horse that loves his
job and can do a little bit of everything! ...until then I will continue to have fun with him!
Congratulations
Amy!! Happy trails!
He's a ton of fun,
you'll love him :)
