Carmella
Quarter Horse Mare, 18 years, stands 15 hands. She is a dark dun color with a wide strip
down her back (pictured), and really cute markings. Carmella TRULY LOVES people and
attention, she nickers when she sees you and is always in a good mood!
She is the perfect trail horse, open show horse or family horse. She is very well trained with
easy to ride gaits and a NICE neckrein (you can steer her around with your pinky finger)!
She has a nice jog, a cute trot and a hobby horse lope to her. She goes english, western and
trail rides ANYWHERE, I've also ridden her bareback with just a halter and lead rope to go
catch horses in the pasture and pony them back to the gate- this is how much I trust her and
how willing she is to get the job done!  I REALLY like this mare- she's as HONEST as the
day is long! She rides the same weather shes ridden once a day or once a week, no spook,
rides anywhere out on the trail, goes alone or with others, and she's cute enough to take to
an open show. Carmella is suitable for novice riders and up (an advanced beginner will be
fine to ride her WITH guidance...she is RESPONSIVE to cues which is why we reccomend
her this way!) In other words- she is push button broke- if you tell her (even accidentally) she
WILL do what she is cued to do.  Since shes been here she's been ridden and approved by
different level riders.  Carmella loads, ties, stands quietly for the vet and farrier, respects the
fence, gets along in a mixed herd, is easy to catch, and has no vices. She is a nice mare all
the way around.....I really like this one!
