This horse IS the definition of "Old Faithful".  If you've been showing open and 4-H locally
them I'm sure you have seen good ol' Buttercup. Due to very unfortunate circumstance
Butter is regretfully offered for sale. He has been a privately owned horse his whole life and
we would like to find him a wonderful, permanent home where he will still be enjoyed.  He is
not ready to hang up the bridle just yet, a semi- retirement trail riding home would be ideal
for him. He is a old horse with a young soul.
Butter is a Palomino and White Paint that stands 14.3h. He has successfully competed for
many years in the 4-H ring doing Gymkhana, he has many championships and wins under
his belt. He was also hauled and shown with our close friend for many years, competing in
barrels and poles.  He will compete in all classes and knows his patterns better than some
people would know them! Butter was even shown last year at the age of 24! Although he
has slowed down some, he still gave it his all and held his own! This horse is HAPPY to be
ridden and paid attention to, he will thrive as someones "take it easy" trail mount  This horse
has more trail miles than a 4-wheeler and there isn't anywhere he won't go! Butter has been
up the road (extremely traffic safe), in the woods, through brush, through water, in the fields
and ridden through a busy town on several occasions. He was even a guest at a little girls
birthday party! He will go out day or night, ride him once a week or once every couple
months- it doesn't matter,  NOTHING FAZES HIM! He has seen deer, cattle, coyotes,
turkeys, etc. He will go out alone with out any hesitation and he will mind his own business if
he's in a group. Although he is a handy broke horse, he is not hot,  he will never give you
more than you ask for and takes his cues automatically. He is push button broke with a nice
neck rein or direct rein, which ever you prefer.
Butter has a little arthritis but is generally sound, healthy, UTD on everything, never needed
shoes and looks darn good for his age.  He currently eats senior feed mixed with hay pellets.
Along with good quality hay and B-L Pellets (supplement). Not a needy horse, just requires
regular senior horse care.  He will only go to an approved home that will stay in touch with
his previous owner. This was a heart wrenching decision to have to part with him. He has a
whole case of his favorite treats that will go with him as well.

If you are looking for the ultimate trail mount....please give Butter a chance....he's looking for
someone who will enjoy him, spoil him and consider him part of the family!
