April Kite String
Registered AQHA, measured at 15 hands, looks a lot bigger than that probably because
she is so well built, even out of shape she has a nice wide chest and hip. She is buttermilk
buckskin color with a wide strip down her back (pictured).  Here is a NICE show prospect!
April had a really good start put on her then sat around for a couple years, if you are an
intermediate rider looking for an EASY project horse to finish out, take a look at her!! All
she needs is miles and consistency- she is WILLING to do everything you ask of her, but
was never finished out to a specific discipline. April has just been slowly re-started since
she has arrived here and is a pleasure to work with! We have been schooling her in the
arena- just getting the refresher work done.  She naturally carries her head low, has
excellent transitions, is very responsive on the lunge line, and is coming along very nicely
under saddle. She is very soft in the bridle, has been started to neckrein, and responds to
basic leg aids.  She will make someone a lovely english or western pleasure horse, and
she can even stride out enough to cut it as a low hunter over fences or hack horse. You
choose which direction to take her- she is NICE enough to  excel in any discipline. If you're
looking for a QUALITY horse and an inexpensive price, and have the experience to refresh
and finish her out then you WILL LOVE her!!  She will be ready by show season if you
commit to her training! Even after her time off her work ethic is incredible and her
personality is hard to beat! April loves people and loves attention!
April is 100% sound in every way, has great feet, currently barefoot, is up to date on
everything, is VERY easy to catch- she always comes to you- she is just "a happy to see
you" kind of horse! She has impeccable ground manners, crossties, loads, bathes, easily
picks up all 4 feet, stands patiently and quietly to tack up, has no vices, respects the fence
and gets along with anyone you turn her out with.
This was a privately owned horse!

**Please pardon the dirt and winter hair- it is so hard to get them cleaned up during mud
season......its still to cold to bath them!
Look at that nice build with that pretty little head!
